A Phase III Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Alzhemed as Add-on Therapy
In Mild to Moderate Alzheimer’s Disease Patients
This primary objective of this treatment trial is to evaluate the efficacy of Alzhemed on cognitive function and global decline in patients with mild-to-moderate dementia of Alzheimer’s type in comparison to a placebo group of patients. With respect to this MRI sub-study, the primary goal is to evaluate the effect of Alzhemed on the annualized rate of atrophy progression of the entorhinal cortex (ERC).
